Sammy B-Side is about it.

Regularly murdering DJ sets and live shows with his CP, SMB and HF teams all over the UK, from Europe to Australia and beyond, Sammy B-Side has fully cemented himself as the go-to UK Hip Hop Disk Jockey of his generation. Tirelessly touring, lacing cuts and flying the flag for home-grown music the globe over, this DJ is unquestionably about it. Ask anyone, they will tell you.

Over the years his passion for the movement has seen Sammy B-Side grace the same stages as acts such as Public Enemy, DJ Premier, Pharoahe Monch, DJ Q Bert,  R.A. The Rugged Man, Jeru The Damaja, Skepta and Ghostface Killah to name but a few.

When he isn’t busy smacking sets as a solo artist, he can be found killing off live shows with his UK Rap super gang, Contact Play (Dirty Dike, Jam Baxter, Edward Scissortounge, Mr Key & Ronnie Bosh) and if he’s not doing that, he’s holding down his position as tour DJ of choice and in house cut smith for the unstoppable Hip Hop juggernaut that is the High Focus Records family he has been with since before it's inception.

His cuts and scratches are immortalised on an ever growing catalogue of vinyl releases from the highest echelons of the contemporary UKHH crop. Featuring on tracks alongside the likes of The Four Owls, Dirty Dike, Ocean Wisdom, The Mouse Outfit, Leaf Dog, Jam Baxter, Verb T, Lee Scott, BVA MC, Edward Scissortongue, Genesis Elijah, Fliptrix and Split Prophets, this 1210 technician takes pleasure in obliterating cross faders at each and every opportunity.

Sammy B-Side’s dedication to his craft and passion for the scene is further demonstrated through the release of his own compilation mixtapes in conjunction with the mighty Wordplay Magazine, with over 10,000 hard copies of his Volumes 1 and 2 series having been distributed worldwide to critical acclaim.

As the co-founder and resident of the now legendary Super Mega Bad events, he knows exactly what is required in taking any party and pushing it into near frenzied conditions. From open mic cyphers and 4 deck jams, to garage future step scratch sessions - he has what you need.
